Greg Gardner, DO

Dr. Greg Gardner has nearly 30 years of experience as a physician. He graduated with highest honors from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1986, where he received a bachelor of science in biology with a minor in chemistry.
For medical school, Dr. Gardner attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth on a full scholarship from the U.S. Air Force (USAF), earning his medical degree in 1990. He later served in the USAF for five years, first at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida and later as a flight surgeon at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas.
In 1998, Dr. Gardner returned to Fort Worth as a full-time emergency physician and started the Texas Medical Institute in 2008, which was developed as a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in workers’ compensation, orthopedic injury, and rehabilitation.
Dr. Gardner prides himself on his personal approach to patient care and his devotion to providing the best quality care to his patients. He is board certified in family practice and is a TDI-DWC (Texas Department of Insurance – Division of Workers’ Compensation) designated doctor and treating doctor.
Dr. Gardner is married to Lydia Gardner, an Arizona native, and they are the proud parents of twin sons, three daughters, and five grandchildren. During his free time, Dr. Gardner enjoys reading, outdoor activities, attending his children’s activities, and traveling.
